Evolutionary Anthropologists are finding that ancient lifestyles offer clues to improving education and well-being, as hunter-gather societies show us how to bring up happier children in a world with escalating issues of depression, behavior disorders and declining mental health.
Question: How can the average person harness information about ancient lifestyles?! We are working on that
RIGHT NOW.
In the meantime, here are some of the tools we use.
Working with NAMI (the National Alliance for Mental Illness) and the YANA (You Are Not Alone) program, an engaging series of live interactive presentations is helping OTSF with fine-tuning in support of the "Wisdom Lost" program.
By contrasting modern civilization with the people of prehistory, this very interactive workshop captures attention with things that have never been seen before, while it works to bolster self-esteem, confidence and group bonding. The goal is to stimulate curiosity, innovative thinking, and appreciation for real sustainable human values.
